What's Tungle?

  • Tungle is a calendar accelerator.

Tungle's mission is to help you be connected, productive and in control of your calendar. We also believe that you shouldn't have to move to a new environment to do this. Keep using your current calendar - Just Tungle it.

When you Tungle your calendar, you take your old, inflexible, cumbersome calendar and open it up by syncing it with Tungle. This gives you the control and flexibility to make your calendar work for you. From proposing multiple times, to cross-calendar sharing, to eliminating scheduling conflicts - Tungle's on it.

We are Live!

We are live! No more waiting in line, no more tokens. You want it, come and get it.

We are excited to launch Tungle today, the fast and easy meeting coordinator.  Tungle was built to save you time to coordinate meetings with one or many people. This is a complex problem, one that has yet to be solved, but I think, our first step forward is a giant leap in this direction

To solve this problem we focused on three fundamental principles:

  • Dynamic Availability: People’s availability changes with time, and we needed to develop a solution that was intelligent enough to take this into consideration when trying to schedule a meeting with one or many individuals.
  •  Use your existing calendaring application:  You should be able to use your existing calendaring application to coordinate meetings and not have to migrate to another solution. Our first step was to solve the problem for Outlook users - by far, the largest electronic calendar user base. With Tungle, people on Outlook can coordinate meetings with anyone, users on Outlook (with or without Exchange), Google Calendar, Lotus Notes, iCal, Entourage and even people that don’t use an electronic calendar.
  •  It’s all about simplicity and usability:  It should be fast and easy to schedule meetings. You should not have to setup contact lists, manually synchronize calendars, navigate through a multitude of menus, figure out time zones, etc. This complex problem needed to be solved with a simple and easy solution.

Try it out and let us know what you think. Your feedback will help us make this problem disappear. There is much more in the works, so stay tuned (we heard you loud and clear – fellow Google Calendar and Mac users ;) ).

P.S. The Tungle team has more than just hidden superpowers, everyone on this team took ownership of this service/product and worked hard to get it in your hands. Thank you!

Apparently a great service. Do you guys plan on releasing a Thunderbird version of it soon?
