After several months in Beta, Tungle is proud to release in General Availability the first Calendar Accelerator.
Check out our press release announcing our launch.
Many of you reading this may already know what Tungle is, and what it does for your calendar. So for Tungle newcomers, here's the problem and how Tungle solves it:
Today, leading electronic calendars are used by professionals to document and track their daily activities. But, they do little to help people be productive and connected. Tungle, however, turns your time tracking system – your electronic calendar - into a productivity and connected tool.
Tungle solves the challenges that e-calendars today present without requiring you to switch systems. Tungle supports Outlook - with or without Exchange, Google Calendar, Apple iCal, and Entourage for MAC. In addition, Tungle recently partnered with IBM and will be working with them to accelerate Lotus Notes later this year.
When you sync your calendar with Tungle, it's easy to make meetings happen because you have the control to:
- Easily schedule meetings with anyone, without requiring participants to sign-up
- Share free/busy or detailed calendars with anyone, inside and outside your company
- Allow others to easily schedule meetings with you through your personal Meet With Me link
The Tungle team has worked hard to make Tungle more than a utility - it’s an “experience”. Here are just a few highlights of the Tungle experience:
- Your participants can answer your meeting proposals from their smartphone (iPhone, BlackBerry, etc) without sign-up or downloads
- You can follow the progress of your meetings with your own personal RSS feed
- You can easily start a meeting invitation, right from an email in your GMail or Outlook inbox
- You can sync with as many calendars as you want, from different sources
- You can preview the email and the meeting page before sending it to everyone
- You get to paint – with a roller, yes, a roller – in your calendar to propose multiple times
